And if I've done a good job -- important to my readers. As an author, what challenges me is exploring the insides and undersides of my characters. I try to arm them with a little hope, a lot of smarts, and to set them loose on a journey of discovery. Rarely do they wind up where they -- or my readers -- expect them to; and what they find is seldom what they thought they were seeking." -- M.J. Rose The…

Praise for The Halo Effect "Potentially explosive… Rose's latest is not for the squeamish... [Dr. Morgan Snow] is an engaging guide to the world of dysfunction that Rose painstakingly constructs." –Publisher's Weekly "The Halo Effect is tense, engrossing, and sometimes so real it's frightening." - Linda Richards, editor of January Magazine "I dare you to read the first five pages of THE HALO EFFECT and not be in its thrall: this is a compulsive artful page-turner of a novel. Suspenseful, sleek, and sexy, this is M. J. Rose at her best." -Doug Clegg, author of The Hour Before Dark "Dr. Morgan Snow is a refreshingly vulnerable character whose spunky decision…

Praise for The Delilah Complex "The second in the series starring sex therapist Morgan Snow is a big leap forward from 2004's THE HALO EFFECT, mostly because of the social underpinnings about the psychology of female sexuality and why it's so unbelievably difficult to accept that women can desire and demand pleasure. But this is, of course, a suspense novel, and one that's awfully hard to stop reading with some unexpected twists to close things out."Recommended by Sarah Weinman, Confessions of an Idiosyncratic Mind "Rose excels at creating multifaceted characters and atmospheric, quickly paced stories with a twist. This is all of those things and more." Four Stars -Romantic Times…

That Flesh Tones also turns out so beautifully resolved is both frankly surprising and deeply satisfying."-- Laura Van Wormer "Intensely erotic and compelling, Flesh Tones explores the disturbing realm that lies between love and obsession."-- Tess Gerritsen, author of the Surgeon "Flesh Tones is smart, sexy, and so rivetingly suspenseful that I just had to keep turning the pages."-- Katharine Weber, author of The Music Lesson "Once again M.J. Rose kept me up reading all night! Flesh Tones is erotic and intelligent -- exploring obsession, passion and desire."-- Carol Fitzgerald, Bookreporter "Like Jane…
